Instructional Frameworks

In addition to the monthly resources, classroom support, and member benefits included inside Kristine Nannini’s Classroom Club, we have also created several signature instructional frameworks that have become the foundation of what we do.
These systems were designed to provide teachers with clear, research-based instructional support in the areas where students often need the most guidance. Each framework was intentionally created to give teachers practical tools, explicit instruction, and meaningful structure that can be implemented immediately in the classroom.
Although these instructional frameworks are separate from the membership itself, they remain an important part of our overall approach to teaching and instruction. Many members choose to use the Classroom Club alongside these systems to create a more complete instructional approach throughout the year.
Below, you can explore the four signature frameworks that have helped thousands of teachers strengthen reading comprehension, writing instruction, poetry analysis, and intervention support in their classrooms.

The Targeted Comprehension Intervention System was created to help teachers explicitly teach the comprehension skills struggling readers need most. Instead of relying on reading levels alone, this framework breaks comprehension down into targeted, teachable skills using differentiated passages, scaffolded instruction, ready-to-use lesson plans, and built-in progress monitoring.
Designed specifically for below-grade-level readers, this system helps teachers provide meaningful intervention support while building comprehension confidence, closing skill gaps, and making small group instruction far more effective and manageable.

The Ultimate Reading Toolkit was created to help teachers strengthen reading comprehension instruction within the core classroom using engaging, skill-focused practice that students can actually access and apply. With differentiated passages, scaffolded comprehension activities, and explicit strategy support, this framework helps students deepen their understanding of key reading skills while giving teachers ready-to-use materials that make instruction more effective and manageable.
Designed for on-grade-level instruction, this toolkit helps students build stronger comprehension habits, think more critically about text, and apply reading strategies with greater confidence and independence.

The Poetry and Prose Classroom Collection was created to help teachers confidently teach poetry, drama, and prose in a way that feels clear, engaging, and meaningful for students. With explicit instruction, high-interest mentor texts, ready-to-use lessons, and skill-based comprehension activities, this framework helps students move beyond surface-level understanding and truly analyze how different types of literature work.
Designed to make these often challenging standards more approachable, this collection gives teachers the structure, support, and instructional tools needed to build stronger literary analysis, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills throughout the year.

The Paragraph Success System was created to help teachers explicitly teach students how to write strong, organized paragraphs with confidence. Instead of expecting students to “just write,” this framework breaks the writing process down into clear, teachable steps so students understand exactly how to develop sentences, organize ideas, add supporting details, use transitions, and write complete paragraphs from start to finish.
With ready-to-use lessons, interactive practice, anchor charts, and scaffolded writing support, this system helps students move beyond staring at a blank page and begin writing with greater clarity, structure, and independence.
